I know that the record is listed as 14' 0", but Ned Flynn jumped 14' 6" at the district 1 meet in 2008, for some reason the meet record had not been updated.....fyi (sorry Spencer)

pole transportation

How do you get your poles to a track meet? I was told that we can't put them in the bus because the state patrol said so. I have never heard anything like this before and have always put the poles on the ground in the aisle. Just wondering if other districts have the same problem.

I got mine at McClendon's. There is one in woodinville, but there are a couple of others around. They will cut it to length and it comes in 6" or I think even 8" diameters.
