Carbon Poles

I'm on a carbon skypole right now, 14'6" 185 pounds and it is amazing. I moved up a foot once i got on it. There's a lot of push off the top on it. Fiberglass poles are just to slow and noodley now. I think once you make the switch you never go back. Everyone should try a carbon pole.

Heavy Vaulters

Im 175 on a 185 14'6" Carbon Skypole...and i can't even vault my pole height :crying: im gonna be a lot bigger next year tho, senior year. i hope to be about 195 on a 210-15 pole thatll throw me over 15'.

Season

4th at conference with 11'6"
3rd at Regionals with 12'6"
3rd at Sectionals with 13'6"
7th at State with 13'6"

This was my first year vaulting as you can probably tell by my constantly increasing height. I had 14' at state but hit it on the way down twice.

Next year...16'

Stick with it

Hey, dont worry. I joined track as a freshman and quit cause i sucked at vaulting. Sophomore year i stuck with it to clear 8'. Junior year i started out again stiff poling it at 8' in meets until one day it clicked. I started vaulting higher everyday. I ended the season at 14'. Just stick with it. I...
