Re: Murer and Badurova two of the hottest Olympians

Lousy list. Izzy didn't even make it? She's top three in body, easily, and her face is good enough. After seeing that interview they did with her during the olympics she gets nowhere near my top 50, her personality is a bit much. It's not a personality list but I know what you mean. The way she cel...

Lousy list. Izzy didn't even make it? She's top three in body, easily, and her face is good enough. Misty May?! Kerry Walsh?! Dara Torres?????!!!! Hope Solo number 2? I'm ok with her on the list, but number two? Those twins should be number one. I know I'm giving myself up as an over sexed, sexist ...

early to acclimate to the area and will generally not try to leave any
earlier than the day after their event.

I met a competitor last Thursday who was already here for the meet! Retirement must be so sweet.

Then later on start training for power? The problem with doing all the power cleans, hang cleans, jerks or whatever is that I don't have a coach is someone who is experienced with these lifts to guide me. I'm not sure if the LA Fitness staff people are.. reliable? Anyway, I'm sure they wouldn't pro...

(this is like the discussion in the other thread) I think you should gain some weight before phasing into a power oriented plan like Powerplant has described. The Deadlift is great for adding size and...

Lot's of research has been done on stretching... it's all over the forum. The stretching of the quad helps patellar tendinitus frequently in that PT can be caused by tight hips and quad muscles. I had it for a while, the icing helped, the cho-pat strap (the knee strap refeered to above) helped, but...

The band is a temporary fix. I completely healed mine this indoor by icing religiously, and STRETCHING the quad throughout the day. Stretching is the key. I would be willing to bet that if you compare the tightness of your two quads, the leg with the itis is MUCH tighter. Long story short... rest i...

Sounds like standard Patellar Tendinitis. A popular therapy is to get a specialized band (or athletic tape) that puts constant pressure on the tendon. I'm sure with a quick Google search you can find these bands. They're probably cheap. This is counter-intuitive, but, I have cured Patellar Tendiniti...
