I support what others have said in this forum that for a male vaulter (or any one event track athlete) there is more academic money out there than athletic. Since your grades seem solid, I suggest you research the schools that you would be interested in attending, see if they have a vault coach and ...

Not sure if you're still looking, since the original post was from last year, but Wake Forest in NC now has Tim Sullivan as it's pole vault coach. They have signed a male vaulter for next year and already have several very good women in their program.

Surprised not to see any discussion in this forum on what has been going on in AZ this year for boys. I think AZ had to be one of the most, if not THE most competitive state this year.
