ISO UCS 160-165-170 15'

I need an easy transition for a couple kids late in the season from a UCS 14-7" 160, so I'm looking for UCS 15' 160/165/170 at a reasonable price.

Shipping poles

I need to ship poles. Southwest airlines used to be a good choice, but they are now telling me their max length is 161" (about 13 1/2 feet). Anyone know a reasonably prices option to ship one pole?

Re: Shipping Poles

This post probably needs some updating. The flyawaypoles.com site is not running. Southwest Cargo will not accept anything over 160" long.

ISO 140-13' pole

I need a 140lb 13' pole to fill a gap in my pole progression and where one of my kids is at right now. Flex 18-20. I'm in central Kentucky, but traveling from there to Wisconsin in a week, and could pick up a pole on that trip if it were available.

Re: Inconsistent vaults and top arm trouble.

For a plant that is under, you can place a mini hurdle on the ramp just past where you should take off from. This provides a visual input of where you should be taking off from, and you can use this to get used to the feel of taking off correctly. Like any drill, this has limitations - you can becom...

Re: What do college coaches look for

This will be different for each coach, somewhat based on if they are at a D1, D2, D3, or NAIA school, but also based on how established their vaulting program is, how much the head coach and school supports vaulting, etc. As an example, I coach at a D3 school. Therefore, no scholarships. Short of ex...

Re: Bracing at takeoff

There is a fine line between bracing and blocking. Many will argue this is not a good, but I'll not get into that. Either way, instead of leading with your chest, in your effort to brace you are hunching your shoulders forward, and that is counter productive for a swing, and a bad habit to develop. ...

I might be interested in some of the training poles, what are you asking for them?
