Polevault Clubs/Clinics/Help in Houston Proper?

Hi, I'm a high school vaulter at Strake Jesuit in Houston and was wondering if there were any clubs/clinics in the city itself that I can go train at. It's getting tough to train at school with the majority of practice dedicated to new vaulters and a very small pole inventory. Any help is appreciate...

Re: pole vaulted 10-3

You could be under on the pole, if you look at your left arm in the first film you can see it's right in your face.

Difference between blowing through a pole and lots of bend

I recently started jumping on a new pole (13'3" Altius 145, holding 13' & I run a 4.9 40 yard) and the pole bends alot but it is upwards not to the back of the pit as I was experiencing with my (12' 150 Spirit). I land very shallow in the pit, could I just be rushing the jump? I will try to...

Is anybody going to tape the Olympic PV?

I was wondering if anyone was going to tape the event, and share it on the site(if legal), so that more experienced vaulters could point out some do's and don'ts to the rest of us.

I land mid-shallow in the pit, and my standards are set at 23". I weigh 140 and I use a 150 pole, but I can bend it. I think most of the time when I hit the bar its on my up with either my back or my butt.

How High Can You Go On A Pole??

I'm a Freshman in High school and I use a 12' pole and my current PR is 10.6". Should I switch to a longer pole? I'm sorry I don't know the exact measurements I hold at, but my top hand is about 3" away from the top.
Thanks For The Help.
