Ha yeah you are definately spot on about that being a huge difference, this is my last year so i plan to make it the best and if necessary towards the end of the season i will man up and get another bigger pole if required.

This is a rather sad post, especially because im from Pasco and we are doing much of the same stuff with budget cuts and everything. Makes being a vaulter that much harder.

Hey guys thanks, beginning last season my Pr was 10' 6" and i bumbed up four feet so i am hoping to jump up maybe another 1.5 to 3 and i could possibly buy two poles so if you think i should get like a 170 or 175 of the same weight it is a possibility. So i should be jumping like 14'6 off of my...

mostly land in the center of the bit a few feet from the back of the box but occasionally i end up near right side of the pit

I believe that when it came to pole drop, i was taght from the very beginning to almost let the pole be in a controlled free fall from the top to the box, with your last three steps being the planting section.?
