MY 13'6 130LBS would just be "my baby" and my 120 13' is "lucky pole/pacer" (that thing has gotten me to states every time) we have one huge brown pole w/ no info we call "the man pole" and "brown pony" and there is this pole that i hate....i just call it "crappy stick"

i definitly feel your pain here! i'm a soph (almost a junior) and i am even worse. i understand what i need to do and i can do it in drills but when it comes to vaulting time i just can't seem to peice it all together. i'm holding ten on a 13'6 pole (im healing an injury so not enough speed to hold ...
when we do drills (wich is we do every day) everyone gets bruises on the lef arm (or right if your a lefty) from collapsing the arm in. if you have your technique down correctly and you aren't bending the pole maybe you should be moving up or to a pole better suited for you. that way you can get som...
