Try using the "magic towel." Put a towel on the runway about a foot in front of where your takeoff should be. Trying to take off from behind the towel will help your perception of where you should be taking off from. When you get used to taking off from behind the towel, remove the towel ...

start holding low and 1-step. hold a little higher and 2-step, then repeat at 3-4-5- and eventually 6-and 7 and you're confidence and take off position should be on

open the passenger side window and put the pole in as far back as it goes into the car unfortunately the window needs to remain open but you can use a garbage bag to cover the open parts of the window. be sure to tape or secure the back of the pole so that it does not slide out in case of a short st...

When i moved to 6 steps, it really helped to count out my steps it made me much more confident

practice with the collar mat covering large portions of the side of the box and do three step drills with a pole drop
