Plateaus in this sport are common for beginners all the way through elite athletes. Stick it out, seek out the coaching you need to improve and you will be a better vaulter and person for it. There are great video review forums on this board to help with the technique aspect also!

Toby was unconscious, had broken ribs, bruised internal injuries and spent a significant time in the hospital - I don't want to get caught up on definitions, but it was a serious injury. I agree that Chelsea's was not. My point was (and is) that coaching is not THE answer - it is one of the answers....
