Re: Corrugated tubing long island

Try Home Depot or Lowes. You can buy corrugated Black drain pipe for about 5 bucks for 10 feet and just tape em together and cut off the extra length. I use it and travel all over and it is water proof and very, very tough. The tube will hold 4 larger poles and up to 6 smaller diameter poles. The pi...

Re: Blow up Pit?

Well I used them back in the mid 70's. First of all I was injured pretty badly from landing on the margin/edge (bad jump for sure) but the edges give away so the effective landing area is about 2' feet in from the outside edge. Secondly they do not puncture but if the power fails they do lose air pr...

Triple Jump spikes!

Well I did it (thanks Bubba and Christian and others) for the advice/insight into the benefits of TJ spikes for our........older legs and ankles and knees and>>>>>>>well you get the idea. Anyway ordered a pair of Nike TJ III's and should have them in my anxiously waiting hands monday or Tuesday. Can...

Re: Lavilenie uses triple jump spikes

I have jumped in them for the last 2 years. Not a bad jump shoe but as stated in the beginning of the post not as supportive as TJ spikes. So they are fine shoes to be sure but more support and stability is a definite plus. I am switching to TJ spikes for those reasons not because PV 2's are bad sho...

Re: Lavilenie uses triple jump spikes

Ahh Bubba the voice of reason. Thanks , I am switching to TJ spikes myself for injury prevention and hopefully a less uncomfortable take off. Thanks for the confirmation I have been leaning that direction for a while.

Lavilenie uses triple jump spikes

After careful analysis of our current world champion it is clear that he uses triple jump spikes. They appear to be Nike TJ2 or TJ3's. anyone else notice this....... Or care? Just seemed interesting.

Re: Having trouble doing bubkas on high bar

Well actually if you can't get your hips up on the high bar, rings, rope etc. it is simply a lack of core strength. No need to sugar coat it. Your stomach is only one piece of the core strength formula. I coached Gymnast (including Elite National team members as well as beginers for over 30 years) an...
