Re: Tivo/DVR/PVR

You can use a Black Magic product. They have some devices with HDMI in; however, you can only record via HDMI if the program in question is unprotected. Also, the resulting recording is in a not consumer friendly format.

Re: Is there a coach in Austin?

Kris Allison is in New Braunfels.
Brian Elmore is in Austin somewhere.

If you go home to Houstonville on the weekends, consider looking up David Butler at Rice.

Re: Can you make your own standards?

I would like to second what PV2020 said. My personal standards are 2x2" tubing welded at none other than Bell Athletics. You could also bolt a tube collar to a base and slide the square tubing into it. That would require a drill and fasteners and not require any welds

Why not sand blast them? Sand blasters are pretty inexpensive.

Re: NCAA Mandates new ASTM Box Collar by Dec 2013

Painter pole and certified steel tape measure is still the best, especially on sunny days. The laser dot can be a pain to see, especially if the sun is straight over head. Grainger had a clearance on the really good distance measuring lasers recently. I don't know if the sale is still on.

Re: Transferring Schools

If your current school offers your major and your scholarship is for four years, I would stay put and look for a club to vault with. Don't turn down a free education; especially if you are planning on further education after college.

Re: The Push Plant Issue resurrected!

Shack,

Were you part of the group that came through UC Irvine every year? I remember those plugs.

Coach Simonyi was always very kind to me, which I have never forgotten.
