Video of pole breakage

Does anybody have or can anybody get ahold of the vaulter who broke his pole at the Pasco Invite last Saturday (4/21/03)? He's my vaulter, but I wasn't down there because we split our squad that day. I'd really like to see what happened. Thanks!

We've got good takeoffs/plants, but when we get up in the air, we all try to clear without getting inverted first. Consequently, we're not getting everything out of our poles. We've done lots of short run...

Pit purchase

We met with our School Board a few nights ago and they Okd the purchase of NEW PITS! We are very excited here at our school because now we can participate in the sport we all love. I'm not gloating over here, but it's nice that our school finally treated Track and Field like any other sport that has...

Top hand rotator cuff injury

I have a vaulter who last spring hurt her top hand's (left) rotator cuff. She just strained it, but was in a lot of pain. She did tough it out and competed at District, but she has BIG goals for the next 2 years. Does anyone have any suggestions for her on techniques, drills, rehab, etc?
