A few vaulters and I had an awesome idea after watching a kid at a track meet run around wearing those flashy light up shoes. We wanted to put them in a pair of spikes. So, I bought a pair of those kids shoes at the goodwill store, tore them apart, and put them in an old pair of pole vault spikes! H...

the first pole I ever broke, I use as a walking stick.

I sawed off the top 4 feet or so, put a butt plug onthe bottom, and wrapped some nylon cord around the grip. It's lightweight and extremely strong, and has helped me get up alot of mountains!

I actually started vaulting righty in HS...then quickly realized that I can't jump off my left leg to save my life, so I switched to lefty and have been jumping lefty ever since...except a few times righty just for fun :) Righty PR - 12'6" Lefty PR - 17'1" Total Ampidextrous PR - 29' 7"

two main reasons:

it is inefficient,

that's a matter of opinion... I actually tape my top hand grip like that for a little extra stick and texture

I'm just curious as to how high of a bungee you can hit compared to your PR. I should probably define "hit"....by "hit" I mean a bungee that you pull down with BOTH FEET. You can also mention if you've touched or one-footed a bungee, but as for the poll, that is for what you can ...
