If you had the same PRESS support on the ground with the left arm and hand that you have AFTER you leave the ground , you could hold a foot higher and jump a foot and a half higher!!!! Take the pad of your left hand and PRESS up and to the left side when the pole makes contact with the box! Tall early press support!! It acctually starts with your foot on the ground!!!!

Get yourself a rope and stand with your drive knee parrallel! Drive the knee up, not back and pull your hips to your TOP hand!!! We use 5# ankle weights and have no problem getting TOTALLY inverted!!! Guarenteed!

There is no push with the left hand, it is a BENT arm PRESS support UP! Not a push--block or clutch!

We do exactly the same drills with 3lb. ankle weights on!!! We also do them on soft board and rubber runways! No stress on the knees!

Great plant and technique! He needs to PRESS up harder with his left hand as he leaves the ground so he can load a bigger pole with a higher grip!!!!! Every thing else he does well!!!
