For starters you must grip high enough to make a 9" pushoff realistic - between 12'10" and 13'6" depending on your height would be the minimum grip to enable a 9" pushoff. Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains...

Stillwater, OK is the windiest spot in the lower 48 states. 9 inch box and very fast runway.

Norman, OK indoors has the old board runway from the Myriad in Oklahoma City. Lots of big jumps off that runway - ask Lane Lohr about it.
