Thank you! That was the longest competition I have ever competed in. Started the warm up at 4pm and took my first jump at 10pm.

Thanks for posting that Becca. Usually CIS isn't very competitive, but my friend from Quebec had a 20cm pr and was beating me until I jumped 5.35m. He jumped 5.30m first attempt.

Nice vaulting! Takeoff just looks a little low, if you can fix that you could get your grip up a bit. It also looks like you're hesitant to drop your shoulders which would have probably got you back in time to clear the bungee. Good luck.

It was just a warm up jump, you can put the standards where ever you want then. In the competition if you read his blog he says that his standards were at 80, then 70 etc. As for 95cm if it were in the competition that would be too much depth. I watched some decathlon video's last night, and Visa sponsored all of the US decathletes in like 1991-1992, they had a huge training camp in Las Vegas I think.
