Looking for a slightly used 13-14', 175 lbs pole

Hello Everyone,
I'm just getting back into the sport. A used pole is a good start.
13 - 14', 175 lbs. pole would do me great.
Please contact me if anyone has one for sale.
Thanks,
John

Re: Pole Vaulting in the Saginaw/Bay Area

I've found a track and field club in Flint that practices out of Bridgeport.
I'll be checking with them about their vaulting facilities.

I'm willing to spend $250-300 on pole.

Looking for slightly used 14' 180 - 190 pole

Hello Everyone,
I'm just getting back into the sport. I'm looking for a slightly used pole.
14' 180-190 should do.
I'm located in Michigan, so I'm willing to pick up here or make arrangements to ship, at my dime.
Thank you,
John

Re: Adult Michigander wishes to pole vault again

Thanks again for the welcome.
I've gone thru a serious transformation since January. I've lost 26 lbs. and I'm running every other day.
When I vaulted this spring, first time in 33 years, I caught the bug.
I just need a pole and a facility.

Re: Adult Michigander wishes to pole vault again

I agree with you. It really is the greatest sport.
I'll shoot you a message regarding the specifics.
Something else, I'm looking for a good used pole. Probably a 13'6", 180 to start.

Re: New pole for an old guy

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to jumping again.
I jumped a couple times this spring for my kids. I'm just nervous using a school's pole.

Re: New pole for an old guy

Good idea if there was a club within 100 miles from where I live (Saginaw/Bay area of Michigan)

New pole for an old guy

Yes, I'm looking to buy my first pole. The problem is this. I'm 49, 190 lbs. and I'm pretty much starting over again.
One thing I see is there's not a lot of 13'6" pole with a 190 weight rating.
Any thoughts on this?

Re: Pole Vaulting in the Saginaw/Bay Area

Sure will.
Did you ask your coach about summer-time vaulting?

Re: Adult Michigander wishes to pole vault again

Thank you very much for the advise.
I will look into the "club" option.
Once again, the journey begins.
