Re: Olympic Sprinters why should i drag my toe

Great for a football 40 yard dash, the start of a high hurdle race, or maybe even a 60m dash. Would not do it anywhere else. Gatlin gets away with it in the 100 because he is so hamstring dominate in the way he runs, but that is not going to work for most. Good science though for shorter distances, ...

Re: Oklahoma loses another coach!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to Clemson's coach? They had a pretty good jumps and multi coach that coached the vaulters. But looks like Clemson knows how to build a pretty good ACC women's team. 4 sprint coaches, 3 jumps coaches (2 does vault (1 graduate assistant that was vaulter), 1 does multi), and a throws coa...

Re: Top ten College Pole Vault Programs in the country

Think it went more towards currently the top ten pole vault programs. So like if you are a college high school kid what would be the 10 best vault programs to consider. Or something along those lines. I am not a big fan at looking at any all time list, because the coaches responsible for all the top...

Re: YOU can help an emerging elite athlete + get prizes - 2011

Where does all the money go that people pay for the summit anyway? There are around a thousand or so vaulters. There is an entry fee. Most sports that run an event like this, the main manufacture would be the event sponsor and should take a little of a loss on the event, and the pay out is press fro...

College Athletes - Whats your current week look like?

What are you doing for training right now? Most colleges are currently in their pre-season and limited to only 8 hours. So how are you spending yours?

Re: top SEC vault school

I know a kid that had a 16.09 pr during the recruiting process fall of his senior year in high school and was offered seven full scholarships. I know that is very uncommon, but it can happen. That kid also had also PRd by around 3 feet in one year and anyone that saw videos of his video knew the se...

This would be awesome if someone else would do it though.

We all know USATF is evil.

Re: Brad Walker does not fear failure

Should show that quote to Nike and remind them why he deserves to keep those bright yellow spikes. Maybe they can make an inspirational video for youtube or something. This post sounds sarcastic, but I really do respect what he said and think all vaulters should have that opinion.

Wonder what their poison of choice will be tonight back at Hookers place when they drink away their sorrows. FOSTERS for Hooker? And Red White and Blue Budweiser for Walker?
