Re: Help vaulting 9 feet
1 more item... Instead of picking your feet up to clear the bar, think of swinging your right leg through: your left leg will already be bent from the take off and jumping action... try to swing the right leg through to your top hand or higher... practice swinging on the bars at school or on the pla...

Re: Insightful
My point was always, and it is the same point that came across in your posts and letter to UW - The swing allows the quickest and most efficient "Cover" while simultaneously generating sufficient pole speed relative to grip and flex... If any of the 3 are not in accord then there are ineff...

Re: Straight pole grip height?
Is there a formula or equation that relates to how high you can grip straight poling to how high you can hold with a normal bent pole? Example: If you can hold 12' straight poling, what could be a max grip height with a bent pole? Could it be factored by multiplying by a given number like 1.2 or 1....

Re: WTB: Roll out runway
Look for a sand and gravel pit in your area: they have really long and wide conveyor belts that get worn out, break and retired. Especially if they know that you are working with students in sports, they may simply donate it and give it to you for free; it seems that some of the contractors repurpos...
