the official checking poles isn't a regular vault official so I'm sure what John said is correct. In the future if there is any rule question you or your vaulter can come to me or any of the other actual vault officials.

JJ Juilfs cleared 5.20 at the state meet today to win the 6A division. amazing jumping in less then ideal wind conditions. Great job JJ

I have been coaching high school vaulters for 21 years and I have never cut anyone because I didn't like them or didn't think they were going to be state qualifiers. I coach because I love the event. We would like to thank all the athletes and coaches who attended our first annual vault symposium this weekend. We had 40 participants. Rick, I though we had scheduled our meets so the wouldn't coflict with yours but somehow it got messed up. We will miss having your group, they add a lot of fun to our meets. And even worse is I will miss your meet, seems to be the only place I can clear a bar :yes: I hope your vaulters do well this...

everyone jumps together. we seperate the groups only by starting height. if you start at 11'6" or higher you will start at noon. the second group for people starting lower will follow. my guess is a couple of hrs. later but it depends on how many vaulters show up.
