there is also Youth Nationals which doesn't require any qualifying if you meet the standard

just two different groups creating their own national championship trying to make money. Usually USATF has better competition.

Although I have never actually measured them, all outdoor elevated runways I have been on seemed to me to not be level (within the rules). However, if they did meet the rules, I don't see why a record height jump shouldn't count for a record. - master i agree.... Most of the board runways i see are...

i would hate the rule. There is a reason why the standards can go anywhere in the range not just 3 places. It helps you jump higher! At Reno i can understand because they have so many vaulters that a couple seconds every vaulter makes a huge difference for the entire day but at a track meet where th...
