I think there was a Freshman Indoor PV record set this past March 16 at the Gene Armer Indoor meet by Adam Coulon Tri-Valley HS (Downs Illinois).

According to the Pole vault power record sheet it is a record by .25in over Corey Shanks. However only one height is listed so it may not be 100% accurate. Still rather impressive and an awesome height for a freshman! The height would put him 5th outdoors but I do not know what those other guys did indoors (Tommy Skipper went 15'6 in 8th grade and 16' outdoors freshman year but I have not seen any indoor results on him).

Anyone that can relay a message to Adam for me please tell him Congratulations on the record and to continue to keep working hard to keep progressing to hopefully see more big jumps in the future!

I forget what Tommy jumped indoors his freshman year, maybe 14' something? Nothing huge. Not many indoor meets up here.

Corey thanks for the reply that was very thoughtful. I shared this with Adam and he was impressed.
