7A State Championships
Cabot, AR
Congratulations to Lexi and Tori! Going into the meet, the 7A state meet record was 12'10". Both Lexi and Tori cleared what they thought was 13'00" and when the officials realized it was a record height, they measured; turned out to be 13'00.75". Lexi went on to make 13'06.5" to break the Arkansas Overall State Meet record of 13'06.25" which was held by Stephanie Foreman (6A), set in 2008. In Arkansas, official state records can only be set in the state meet or Meet of Champs. Both have qualified for the season finale Meet of Champions to be held in Heber Springs on May 17th.
