Uof Ok pole vault status

I was under the impression that the Oklahoma Sooners were no longer going to contest the vault, but listed on their 2010 roster is Jonathan Webb a 16 ft frosh from Moore.

They are going to have vaulting with mostly walk-ons. They also hired a coach. They dropped it to get rid the scholorship athletes and the vault coach two years ago.

Oklahoma University will definately be contesting the vault. They have hired a full time pole vault coach who took a high school girl all the way to the last Olympic trials. Jonathan Webb (my son) is not a walk-on neither are 2 of the female vaulters. Oklahoma is serious about the vault this year and you will see this in the performances of its athletes this season.

So is he coaching the sprints too? did he take Waylons Spot?
