No one picking Jack Whitt for top 5? I see him and Jeff Coover fighting it out for 3rd place behind Roth and Colwick.

The ladies are pretty much impossible to predict! Kylie Hutson is jumping really well, and obviously Sutej has put up big marks as well, but everyone is packed so tightly in there...

But i agree with you becca, the girls are impossible all the way from number 15-5 theres only a four inch pr difference. its going to come down to who really knows how to kick it into gear in big CLOSE meets. First attempt makes are going to tell all, and ANY pr's could spoil alot of peoples places since everyone is so close. But hey thats what we want right!!? Big meet with a ton of great girls ready to jump high! hope theres some good coverage.

Earl Bell told me this several years ago about a meet. And I quote "It does not matter what your PR is, but how good you jump that day. Anything can happen.

Let's try and guess what heights the top athletes will jump...

My guess for the men is that 3rd will be 5.50... first will depend a lot on if Colwick and Roth are both jumping well. I don't see them being bold enough to do much passing... maybe 5.50 to 5.60, but probably 5cm after that if they both are still in, in which case I don't see it taking any higher than 5.65 to win. If one of those two has a good day and one a bad day, I see 5.75 being attempted.

For the ladies, that 5cm progression is going to be brutal and make for a long day. I think 4.45 will win, maybe even a clean 4.40. I think at least the top 6 will be over 4.30.

Thats why they have the meet.. the point of predictions are to predict who you think will jump high and most people go by who has been jumping well recently
