There are a lot of schools in California. What schools can you actually get admitted to? What do you want to study? How high have you gone?

Are you a boy? You'll probably want to aim for one of the DII or smaller schools. Some of them have really big teams. At the biggest schools it can be really difficult to walk on, like even 15' guys sometimes can't.

Many of the schools in CA have decent pole vault programs. You'll have to look at tfrrs.org and see how high their guys are going. Look at the schools' website and see what it takes to get admitted.

Some of the smaller colleges in CA that produced decent vaulters last year:

DII - CS Stanislaus, CS LA
DIII - Redlands, La Verne, Biola
NAIA - Azusa Pacific, Westmont

What do you want to study? Do you think you can get into a UC campus or a place like Oxy? What are your financial constraints?

Azusa Pacific University is no longer NAIA, they are DII, and will start their NCAA probation period this upcoming year.

Concordia University in Irvine is starting a pole vault program (www.cuieagles.com) If interested PM me. I am the pole vault coach there.
