Loosing My Coach. Help

Unread postby needheight » Tue Dec 04, 2012 3:05 pm

Long story short, my coach is moving on and will no longer be able to work with me. It sucks because I was making such good progress, and now I won't be able to continue vaulting unless I can find a new coach. I should mention that I'm not a college athlete. I'm not even competing. I only took up vaulting a few months ago. So it's all about fun and love of the sport for me right now. I'm not sure where to even begin looking for a new coach. Any suggestions? Do you think a college team would allow me to train with them? Any advice would be appreciated.

No, generally you cannot practice with a college team unless you are on the team or are a coach for them. But you should talk to the coach at whatever college is near you, they may have suggestions or know of other club coaches.
