Pratt 5.70, Mondschein 5.45, Sarafian 5.35 will it count?

The college guys were jumping out of their minds today. I will have all the video up in the next few days.

Robbie Pratt PR'd with a jump of 5.70, also a Mexican indoor national record.

Brian Mondschein PR'd with a jump of 5.45. Adam Sarafian PR'd with a jump of 5.35.

Will these count for NCAA qualifying? I talked to Dave Nielson yesterday and the issue is still unresolved. They SHOULD count since this was part of the Silver State Games. Will they? Unknown.

Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

I must say, way to go guys, Robbie, Adam, and Brian. Looks like the tall guys are off to a great start, and Adam too. I think Brian will break the 18' barrier this year, if not, I will be surprised. And Robbie could break 19' from looking at the video.

Robbie was so, SO SO close to getting 19'. He basically didnt touch it. It was his awesomeness aura that knocked it down. GREAT jumps everyone.
Just you wait...

As far as I know, DII, DIII, and NAIA have always accepted the marks. It is Division I that decided to stop accepting them.
