Congratulations to Jeff Kingstad on his Men's 55 age group World Record jump of 4.11 m (13' 5.75") at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno last night (1-3-08). Jeff vaulted at West Allis Hale High School and was the top HS vaulter in the state his senior year (1970) and maybe before that. His prep PR of 15' 1" is still up there on the Wisconsin all-time list.
Who says pole vaulting isn't a life sport!
