The Burlington Rotary Club recently presented two Burlington-Edison High School students with the Student of the Month award for September.

Courtney Doughty, daughter of Tom and Suzanne Doughty, received the award for her 4.0 grade-point average and involvement in school activities. She participates in Key Club, honor society, Ignite Mentors, Natural Helpers and Peer Mediators. Doughty's honors include state champion pole vaulter and volleyball team co-captain. She plans to attend college and compete in track.

That's more of a write up then when she won state as a sophmore. She deffinatly deserves that. I've never meet someone so young (heck most adults) that has thier lives together as well as her.
An optimist is one who sees a light in darkness....a pessimist blows it out.
