Away at School -- Holbrook makes fourth trip to nationals

YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC

DORIA HOLBROOK (Eisenhower), a senior diver on the MIT women's swimming and diving team, will make her fourth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships this week in Oxford, Ohio.

She will compete in the 1- and 3-meter diving events. Her winning score of 593.30 in the 3-meter contest at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference championships was the highest in Division III this year. She also sealed up the 1-meter title with a mark of 517.45.

Holbrook won the NCAA 3-meter diving title in 2005 and 2007, taking second in 2006. She has been second, third and fourth on the 1-meter board, making her a six-time, All-America honoree.
