Altius Summer camps 2005

Unread postby Cheyla~PVC » Thu May 12, 2005 12:16 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about any summer vaulting camps. Last year there was one in Couer d' Alene and I wasn't able to go, but I am wondering if there is another one there next year. If anyone has any info about WA state PV camps this summer, please reply!

Thanks!

vault camps

We will be having a camp in Nampa, Idaho (just outside of Boise), July 11-14. Alan Launder, the author of: "from beginner to bubka - an australian approach to developing pole vaulters", will be the featured coach. He excels at teaching the vault at all levels, whether you are an elite vaulter or a beginning jumper, you should definately look into this camp.

They still haven't posted the dates for the NW PV camps on the website, but Tim has a lake house outside Spokane, so he always does a camp in that area. I would imagine he'll do another one in Idaho or Spokane again this year.

I'll post here when I get dates.

NW POLE VAULT CAMPS
WHY SO POPULAR,
SUCCESSFUL & DIFFERENT?
Always learning, always improving:
Over his 18 years of camp direction, Coach Reilly
has constantly traveled to study and assist the
country’s most reputable camps and coaches, so his
camps can promise the best combinations of drills
and concepts available. If you have not been to
camp in the last 5 years, you have not been to
camp!

Coaching the total athlete:
Tim empowers the most dynamic drills and
techniques available with sessions on video analysis,
goal setting, fear management, meet strategies, pole
knowledge and program curriculum for coaches
and kids to take home with them in both notebook
and video form.

Step by step teaching sequences:
Most world-class camps, textbooks, and videos fail
to teach beginning vaulters and their coaches how
to learn each phase, step by step, from the first day
of March in the high school program. Tim is a
teacher, and his campers leave knowing how to
build champion vaulters from the ground up.

The very best NW coaches:
NW PoleVault Camps are always staffed with the
most accomplished, knowledgeable, and positive
coaches available. There is usually a mixture of All-
American vaulters and decathletes, and coaches of
multiple state champions deeply committed to the
collaborative spirit of helping all athletes and
coaches in their area.

As over 250 athletes and coaches testify each year,
the NW PoleVault Camps have become one of the
most popular in the country, and they remain the
least expensive! Come and join us for some of the
most productive few days of exercise, education,
and camaraderie possible
