Good grief you guys! 1st week there were 4 vaulters... 2nd week there were 7... I come back in town and we have 29 show up?!?! Guess everyone was waiting for my fine officiating haha
Nice job to everyone last night. Big thanks to everyone who helped move standards and put the bar up, we never would have gotten out of there without you.
I'll have results typed up by tomorrow.
Kathleen Donoghue won the women with 3.65, and McKane Lee won the men with 5.05 (from 5 lefts with no real warmup jumps...)

I'm thinking of coming down to jump tomorrow. The weather looks good. How is the runway, winds, etc.? Any idea how many vaulters there might be? What time should I show up? (I probably won't start until 16' or 16'6".) Anyone else over 5m going to be there? I'm hoping to get a good result in before the end of the season. You gonna be there, Becca?

Yes I will be there. You should definitely come as it will be my last Wednesday.
The wind is usually a tail or cross tail. The week before last there were 29 vaulters. Last week there were 25. I suspect the numbers are starting to dwindle as the summer dies down. I would count on at least 20 vaulters.
McKane might jump as a tune-up for Clovis, but other than that there won't likely be anybody higher than 14' or 15'.
It starts at 6:00. You won't be coming in until everyone else is out, so you definitely do not need to be there before 7:30. You'll probably start jumping around 8:30, but I never know how many people will show. If it's a small group it will be earlier.
I'll make sure we get done in a timely matter so that you have plenty of time and daylight to jump. It's supposed to be a high of 87 tomorrow, so it should still be nice by the time you jump.
Hope to see you there! I can call McKane tomorrow and see what his plans are.
