Unread postby travis » Sun Apr 27, 2003 10:45 am

Ty Barrington vaulted 17' 3 1/4" in the Region I-5A meet this weekend in Lubbock. He is a Junior from Southlake Carroll High School. This jump will place him at #8 all-time in Texas.

Brandon McFarling, a Senior from A&M Consolidated vaulted 16' 10" to win the Region II-5A meet in Waco.

wow.... I think our state champ for GA 5A will be 14'6" or 15"

I really think if I get used to my new pole I can get 14-14'6".. that would only give me 3rd... But I guess thats better than a state like that where you'd be like 15th...
