Used to be...the original and best was held annually in santa barbra up until three years ago. but then stacy won $150 K over two years and broke the bank. for a while entertainment on a stick was trying to find more sponsors to get it going again but i think they gave up. It was great while it lasted....
Other than that i haven't heard of any significant beach vaults in cali. if you hear of any fill me in.
