Only two per country for World Indoors, and WPV never got a wild card opportunity like some other countries did... so it would appear that Demi Payne is off the team...

That's too bad. According to http://www.iaaf.org/records/toplists/jumps/pole-vault/indoor/women/senior/2016, Demi's 4.90 was the 3rd best jump this year, going into this weekend's meets.

And according to all-athletics' rankings: http://www.all-athletics.com/current-rankings?gender=F&evtg=35, the USA is the only country with 3 in the top 12.

Greece is the only other country with multiple vaulters in the top 12.

So for World's on Thursday I guess we'll see 10 different countries represented, and no Demi Payne.

It doesn't seem fair, but those are the rules.
