Summer Practice at PG Sportsplex (MD/VA)

Unread postby gfilosa » Thu Jul 17, 2008 10:29 pm

I talked to Bill Athey, he runs the PV clinic at PG, and he has practice (indoors) on Wednesdays from 5-9 and Sundays from 1-5. Cost is $20/session. The sessions run until mid-August.

Are we going to get a group together and carpool or something like that? I'd love to jump at PG.

My vaulter works on Sundays and Wednesdays (great schedule, right). As of right now she has to go into work at 4:00pm; I've got her trying to get off or delay going in. As of right now, I've probabally have to leave with her at 3:00pm. I have no problem giving people rides; my car only seats 4, so I have 2 open seats. Would you guys be able to get a ride to a meeting place? I'm coming from the Pikesville area. Let me know if anything works for you guys.

I usually go 695 to 295 (Balt/Wash Parkway) to 495. I can swing down 95 instead if needed. Would meeting at the I-70 park and ride work (take 70 east towards Baltimore)? As far as time goes, it depends on what stops I have to make. I usually allot 45-60 minutes to get there, so it would be somewhere around 12:00pm.
