I have a vaulter in 5A on Friday, but I also have a vaulter in 2A on Saturday. Having all the meets on the same week-end is no fun. This is my "year-end entertainment" and now it is all screwed-up. There are soo many events I want to see, but will not be able to now.

Yeah, that's a bummer for coaches who help kids from multiple schools.
I am stretching just to make it to Hayward by 3 on Friday to watch two boys in 5A, then Sat morning for the girls.
Hope to see you there

What can I say, but that "the student must still look up to the master"? See you Friday, Rick.

No doubt, we've got a bit of catching up to get to Rick's level!! (who doesn't?) Should be a great meet. I'm sorry we won't make it in time to see the 4A and 6A boys, unless the meet goes long.

It is now updated for JJ's jumping at the Jr. Nationals. He is now only 1.75" away from #2 All-time Oregon. Way-to-go JJ.

Anyone know what the Oregon HS girls indoor records are? I looked at athletic.net and saw that Sammie Clark cleared 11'6 indoor in 2009.

Annie Sidor, junior from Summit HS cleared 11'6 today in Springfield and almost cleared 12'. Sara Small from Sisters cleared 11', and Jill Doyle from Jesuit cleared 11' after breaking a pole. Awesome meet!

Love to see an indoor list if anyone has one!

Cheers,
Tom

I know there have been some Oregon girls at least in the upper 12's indoors, and Tommy Skipper went 17'+ indoors. I think much of that predates athletic.net. I think Sara Sasaki very briefly had the HS indoor record many moons ago. Old Dyestat lists would be the place to look.
