Biskupiak, Brown set Bruin school record in boys pole vault

They went so high, this reporter almost got a nosebleed just watching it.

In a dual track meet with Capital High and Butte High at Vigilante Stadium Saturday, Bruin pole vaulters Bobby Biskupiak and Tyler Brown each soared 15-6, erasing the old school record of 15-4, which was set earlier this week by Brown.

Brown and Biskupiak unsuccessfully attempted to clear 16-0 (three inches over the state record), although both came close to making it. Biskupiak won on fewer misses, having sailed over two personal records on his way to victory.
