Is this good for My first year

my first year of vaulting is coming to a end and i finished the season jumping 12 we have practiced a few times during the summer and i can 4 step 12 and almost 4 step 12'6 and im wonder if thats any good for my first year btw im a junior now

how old are you....it is very good reguardless....but it would be interesting to know how old you were when you started.

When you say "4 step" is that "4 lefts"? Or is that 4 steps in total (ie. 2 lefts)?

Sorry, the terminology is a little different here in Aus. Also, what is your grip height?

hmm...what pole are you using? you could be developing some sort of bad habit if your are on too soft of a pole, i would try to get your grip height down a little bit, you should be trying to jump ABOVE your grip height not a foot below. however this is pretty impressive for a first year vaulter.

well im using a 14 160 but if im holding at 13 and the bar is 12'6 would then be = to my handgrip? indoor is startin soon and ill prolly move up to a 14 175
