i im new to pole vaulting this year. im able to clear 9 ft. but i do not have a good form after i take off. i just ride the pole then spin over, how can i improve this.
work for success.

If you can learn some terms about the jump, you can use the search function on this site and look up any certain part of the jump.

The run/approach
Take off
Plant
extension
Swing/invert
"Bubka"
push


The plant through the push are after you leave the ground. Just remember that if you cant get the first part of the jump right, it's nearly impossible to get the second. For instance if your run isnt controlled and solid, your take off wont be very nice either.
