State Disapointment

Unread postby airforce1298 » Mon Apr 08, 2013 5:56 pm

This is my first year pole vaulting. In Alabama to get to state you must be at two track meets during the regular season. My problem is that we go to three track meets, but only one has a pole vault pit. That meens that I will have been to only one meet and can not make it to state. Any help would be great.

Have your coach or A.D. check around and find a meet that has the vault and see if they'll let you in. Last year a great distance runner that was the only track athlete on her team came to our meets. You shouldn't typically have to pay an entry fee for a small meet.
