yeah i know, thats y i am a little dissapointed, because when i went to my next stick i didn't vault well at all, i should have stayed at my 13'6'60 for clearing 13'6, but oh well. This i was surprised about was that no one got to 14.

2 of the people that jumped 13'6" should have got it but when they went for it they just were satisfied where they were so they didn't do any better. Its time to train like crazy for outdoor

ryan oakes from white oak could have cleared it but he has never jumped higher than 12'6" before so i was surprised to see him get as far as he did

Jax,
You are trying to go from a 14' 140 to a 15' 145. That is trying to move up at least 15 lbs not to mention the bend is much higher. You should be sticking with 14' poles if you are vaulting 13'. Your next poles should be 14' 145, 14' 150, 14' 155 if you weigh 135 lbs. You should be able to vault 14' plus some on those poles before you move to a longer pole.

advath is 100% right. One thing to remember is that a higher grip does not equal a higher jump!

im glad im hitting those tactics,a nd ryan oaks deffinitely did not havce the form or ythe hand grip to clear 14 feet. his hand grip was like 14 inches wide, not good at all!

i think my biggest problem right now is my speed. If i can get my speed a little faster then i will bend that new pole. garaunteed.
