1) go see a trainer/doctor
2) do what they tell you
3) ???
4) profit!!!
If your shoulder hurts that bad, then you need to take some time off and let it heal. Would your rather vault now, or be vaulting at the end of season? Like I said earlier, go see s doc/trainer and get the injury diagnosed first. You don't want to make it any worse than it already is.

let it heal!!!!
first of all, go to a doctor. then, do as he says as far as healing time and prevention and then ease back into jumping. Just take it easy, don't do anything to ruin your season.

Check out slaptear.com. There is a section on shoulder exercises that maybe help you. Do not do anything that aggravates it Always ice after jumping, use Icyhot before jumping. Do not take off under and/or keep the pole in front of you when you plant. Research shoulder injuries on the internet that can give you information that may help.

Once your shoulder is healed and in the meantime. Do thousands of plant drills. Getting your plant timed up and in the correct position, Straight up, will eliminate a lot of shoulder problems.
When your plant is low and late all the energy from your run is directed first into your arms and shoulders and not into the pole. Get off the runway and learn to time up your plant with your takeoff, by doing pole runs, when this gets better add a slide box, then transfer this to the runway. Also, short run plant and takeoff drills (2,4,6 step)will help with timing of getting your top arm up just before takeoff.
