Scroll down to the bottom and check out Bubka's training test results. I am confused with 3 of them. 1- the 60m, is this a flying 60m? Did he have a rolling start 5m, 10m,??? Also what are the two weight lifting tests that he does??

sorry here is the link. http://www.iaaf-rdc.ru/eng/docs/pub/0001e.html

I see the two results as "weight lifting- lying position" and "weight pull from behind head".

Just a guess, but judging by those descriptions and the weight he was lifting, i would guess it is bench press and pull overs?

I would agree with you. "weight pull from behind head" sounds like word-by-word translation from Russian for pull-overs.
Regarding 60m, it was certainly flying start. World indoor record is 6.39s, and Bubka's 6.3-6.4 is equivalent to 6.54-6.64. Everything bellow 6.60s is enough for final at World Indoor Championship.

The problem with the interpretations are very interesting. I wonder how many other times the interpretations have been problematic or misconscrewed (sp) by us. Like the original article in 84 or so about the takeoff when Petrov said to not be in support of the ground and the pole at the same time. Watch my video on youtube for the American interpretation of it.
