Supposedly the organizers of the Athens games want to follow the ancient traditions and have only men throwing the shot put. Gee let's just make the whole thing men only while we're at it :dazed:

Well, that's just lame.......but can't you see at all where their coming from? the ancient olympics were only men, and it only seems logical to do one of the events of ancient greece...but yea...I don't think that would go over well...especially with the rest of the world...and especially with all those feminists out there ;)

Well if they are really going to get into the spirit of the ancient Olympics, then the guys will have to throw naked! Do we really want to see naked shot putters?

of course there'd be some limitations...but of course I just don't see that happening at all with the Shot Put being only male...it just goes against the ways of modern society.

I can think of a few female shot putters that would not take the "Men Only" in Athens very well. I wouldn't want to be the one to tell them. LOL
