Great for a football 40 yard dash, the start of a high hurdle race, or maybe even a 60m dash. Would not do it anywhere else. Gatlin gets away with it in the 100 because he is so hamstring dominate in the way he runs, but that is not going to work for most.

Good science though for shorter distances, feet can't move you forward unless they are pushing the ground...

Not really any significance to the vault.

Thats why i posted it in general track and field and not in the pole vault section as i was not intending for it to be implemented for the vault.
