Share pole travel cost?

Share pole travel cost?

I was wondering, since We are only taking a couple of poles, if their were others that wanted to share the SWA cost ($50), I will carry or you can. Leaving from seatac on friday at 6am arriving in Reno at 8ish, Leavin sunday evening after a day of skiing in Tahoe ;) Post or IM

I will either use individual tubes in my bag, or insert a plstic tubing. The bag is a UCS, over 16' long, I can make most poles work.

Make sure you go with the flexible corrugated tubing. Southwest doesn't like the PVC pipe and sometimes won't take them.

Double-wall corrugated. Smooth inner wall makes the insert more rigid, but more flexible than pvc.

The purpose of the post was to get the cost down on shipping for those interested. I appreciate all the advice, but is there anybody interested in cost sharing?

Try contacting Bill Baker at Mark Morris HS. He is taking poles, and he mentioned one or two other coaches in the area that are as well.

I'm not jumping this year, so I am not taking any.
