Wow that's way early. Are colleges even back from Xmas by then? I'm too old to remember.

College coaches were telling them they were more likely to come if it was way earlier.

Seems like a moot point to me with the event not counting for NCAA qualifying, but whatever.

It's up! January 4 and 5.
They say they are moving
Anyone think it will go back to the livestock convention center? I attended the event before it was moved to the hotel and the hotel environment is much better.

Don't know if we will be attending now................
 :dazed: :crying:

The Livestock Area was a ways away from the hotel. Quite a walk if on foot. If you were in one of the lower divisions you jumped downstairs with no heat. It was pretty cold down there.

They have not announced officially, but the Livestock Arena website says it will be there

I couldn't get the above calendar link to work but this link should.

Assuming this is now fact, at what hotel will most people stay?

It's some kind of IP address issue, but if anyone wants to see just go to http://www.visitrenotahoe.com/facilitie ... livestock/ and click around

It looks like the other event in the arena will be the factory direct RV sale. They are in the exhibit hall and parking lot.

I would wait and see what they post on their site. I believe the plan is to provide busses to and from the Livestock Arena, but I don't know which hotels that will include.

I just would like to say if it is at the livestock Arena, I'm not that excited this year. The hotel was probably the best venue for the summit. You didn't have to worry about driving anywhere, everything was right there at your disposal. I just have to gripe about it I guess.

I'm with you! I'm not that excited either  Where will everyone hang out and what about supervision of the kids? It was easy for coaches to be at different locations in the same building when having multiple athletes competing. If you were at an 8:00am session and had an athlete jumping later, they just woke up and came down to where you were. Now coaches have to worry about them missing warm up time and getting to the center without problems. The coach could just run up to the room and check on them if needed. What do you think the schedule will be like when the shuttle busses are running late and athletes miss their warm up time or competition times? I would be very upset spending money and having a problem with my athlete’s competition.

On the other hand the attendance may be too low to worry about it. This is now also on Christmas break! Will ticket prices be more $$$$? I know of several people who already have vacations planned during this time
